When the world chooses war, you can still choose whimsy.

Shake up the status quo with fanciful, silly, joyful playfulness.

There is no better interrupt. This is how you break free. You seek magic in the chaos.

It's there. And you are here to find it.

Please don't let fear freeze you. Don't seize up.

Stay open to synchronicities. Give yourself grace. Allow room for pleasure.

You must keep space for delight. A dalliance a day - with a kiss of your morning coffee, or a slather of scented cream on your legs, or the scent of lilies in your bedroom just cause.

Please treat yourself gently and kindly in these precarious times.

You are a precious creature.

As I continue to slow down (in my year of Donkey Magic) I'm changing how I do a lot of things that have become normalized but don't have to be.

I'm asking myself:

What's normalized that shouldn't be?

And replacing those things with

What would I like it to be?

You may know how much I love coffee and papers. Maybe you've bought some of my zines and books before? Maybe you also journal daily like I do?

I've loved the idea of slow-mail for some time and would love to make it a thing I do.
