Is Social Media Using You? 😳

Last week I felt hungover.

Even though I haven't touched alcohol in +7 years.

I couldn't get out of bed.

I felt groggy, useless, hopeless, pitiful, and discontent.

So I scrolled social media to entertain and distract myself.

I wasn't drunk on substances.

I was drunk on fear.

Between funny skits and cute dog videos, I scrolled through advertising, rage bait, political discourse, and fear-mongering.

Thinking I was keeping up to date with political affairs and daily news, I was instead getting infected with fear.

I'm watching a crew of dweebs I wouldn't have talked to at 13 turn into a pack of supervillains addicted to money and power.

These ketamine-fueled idiots and their cronies are hellbent on causing mass psychosis using psychological warfare (FEAR) to control us and keep us paralyzed.

No thanks.

Break the spell

The moment you remember you have the power is the moment you take it back.

So ask yourself, do you really need to be on social media?

Selling on Social

Social Media needs to serve you - not you serving it by giving it your attention.

If you have something to sell on social - use it for that!

Market Research Using Social

But what I'm most interested in is using social media for market research.

Think about it: we have decades of data just sitting there.

Consumer and audience insights on about all the things people love and loathe.

Real human insights.

And we get to use those to make informed decisions about our future businesses.

Does your business even need to be on social?

Some businesses are better off NOT being on social because their audiences aren't there or don't like it. But you can't know that unless you've researched it.

What's next?

I believe that what comes next is local community group meetups and niche online creative council collectives. REAL LIFE over social media.

I'm putting together my next collective of marketers, strategists, and business owners who want to use social media for consumer insights, and market research and to simplify their content creation process.

Starting with a one-month intensive and full support from me and the most powerful prescriptive AI machine in the world, Creatrix.

If you want to be part of this group, mail me back: I'm in

and I'll send you the next steps.

I probably WON'T see you on social as I'm posting and going - no more scrolling for me!

I can't wait to get started with our collective and together we will
